For those of you isolating but feeling well enough to work from home this week please see the resources and ideas below.
English: This week we will be planning (see attached planning template) and then writing our own opening to an Iron Man story for your designed Iron Man. Take your time to complete the plan and think carefully about your choice of vocabulary. Then you should spend 45 mins writing (Tues) and then reflect on how far you have gone in your plan before taking another 30minutes (Wed) and then time to edit and improve your story. If you prefer to type your story that is fine too.
Maths: This week we are revising subtraction. If you have a partner and dice at home you can begin by playing a simple game. Take it in turns to choose a 2-digit number for your partner who then rolls the dice. To get the point they simply subtract the number on the dice from the 2-digit number correctly. The first to 10 points wins. Then we will be looking closely at presenting column subtraction, follow this link to help you https://www.bbc.co.uk/bitesize/topics/zy2mn39/articles/zc78srd
Then solve the questions on the attached powerpoint.
Computing: This week we are looking closely at screen time and how much of it is healthy. Have a look at the powerpoint and keep a screen time diary for this week. It might be higher than normal if you are at home.
RE: Read the story from Genesis (attached) about a promise God made to Abraham and Sarah. Can you retell the story using a storyboard, or a book, or a powerpoint? Be creative, but remember to get across the main points of the story.
