Year 4

Welcome to Year 4!

Here you will find all of the resources that you will need in order to get through your learning at home.

You will see the timetable and 'Pick of 6' documents before the resources needed for each day of the week. All of the information for the day's learning is provided in the first document underneath each day.

We will have Teams calls twice per day at 10am and 2pm. Each of you will also be invited to have a separate call with me at some point in the week so that I can listen to you read and make sure you are happy with your home learning, so keep your eyes peeled for a Teams invitation! Please remember to email any questions or work to using your own welearn email.

This week is Olympic week! Just because you are at home doesn't mean that you won't be taking part in it though - there are SO many House Points to be earned! You will find a couple of PowerPoints below with some general information about the Olympics. Enjoy and keep active!

Please get in touch if you have any questions or concerns,

Welcome to the Wonders of Year 4

As we approach the winter months, the weather gets colder but in Year 4 we are still buzzing with activity and keeping our brains nice and active and warm!

Remember, you do not need to bring too much to school each day - we are trying to minimize what we transfer between home and school as much as possible, so your pencil case should always stay in school! All you need to bring each day is:

  • A Water Bottle (Named)
  • Homework Diary
  • Reading Book
  • Packed Lunch (if necessary)

If possible, please keep these items in a folder - you do not need to bring a big rucksack.

Our PE days are Monday and Friday, so please come to school wearing your PE kit on these days, wearing warmer clothing as the days get colder.

As we need to keep the classroom ventilated, it may be an idea that you wear extra layers as well as bringing your coat every day!

We love choosing our Secret Student each day, where this special student walks away with a certificate at the end of the day if they manage to behave well and put effort into all of their work. Year 4 love this!

I am so excited to be teaching you this year again and can't wait for all of our amazing learning that we will be doing together!

Take care and if you have any problems or questions, please get in touch.
