We hope you are all staying safe during this lockdown, you are all deeply missed!
Below, you will find everything you need to take on learning from home underneath each day. You will find a timetable for the whole week (which we will be following in school) and a Pick of 6 document for you to choose from throughout the week.
If you are in school at any point throughout the week, please follow this timetable when you are taking on your home learning. Under each day, you will find a Maths PowerPoint, English PowerPoint and a PowerPoint for the afternoon as well. Try to spend around 45 minutes to 1 hour on each lesson if you can. On top of this, we of course have our Teams meeting twice a day!
There are also some extra home learning activities if you would like to do them under 'Extra Home Learning Activities'.
To keep up your singing, head over to https://www.outoftheark.co.uk/ and from there you can access 2 new songs each week by clicking on the 'Out Of The Ark Music@Home' link. Happy singing!
If you have any questions or if you have been asked to send work in, please do so by emailing the Year 4 Team at firstname.lastname@example.org and one of us will get back to you as soon as we possibly can.
We hope to see you very soon,
Mr Gillespie, Miss Morgan and Mrs Simmonds

Welcome to the Wonders of Year 4
As we approach the winter months, the weather gets colder but in Year 4 we are still buzzing with activity and keeping our brains nice and active and warm!
Remember, you do not need to bring too much to school each day - we are trying to minimize what we transfer between home and school as much as possible, so your pencil case should always stay in school! All you need to bring each day is:
If possible, please keep these items in a folder - you do not need to bring a big rucksack.
Our PE days are Monday and Friday, so please come to school wearing your PE kit on these days, wearing warmer clothing as the days get colder.
As we need to keep the classroom ventilated, it may be an idea that you wear extra layers as well as bringing your coat every day!
We love choosing our Secret Student each day, where this special student walks away with a certificate at the end of the day if they manage to behave well and put effort into all of their work. Year 4 love this!
I am so excited to be teaching you this year again and can't wait for all of our amazing learning that we will be doing together!
Take care and if you have any problems or questions, please get in touch.
Mr Gillespie, Miss Morgan, Mrs Simmonds and Miss Demeter
