For many years now, Knightlow has been a school that has embraced the Learning Power Approach, rooted in work by Guy Claxton and based around his early principles of Building Learning Power. The Learning Power Approach encourages children to be independent, creative and inspired thinkers who show initiative and responsibility for their own learning. It encourages collaboration, critical thinking and reflection: skills which will stand the children in excellent stead for the future...no matter where it takes them.!
