Special Educational Needs
Knightlow C of E Primary School believes that all children are special in God's image and that they have a right to learn and thrive in a happy, safe environment. We value individuality and want all our pupils to have equal opportunities to achieve their full potential and have access to a broad and rich curriculum. We strive to provide an education which meets the specific needs of all individuals. We recognise a variety of barriers which children may face and work tirelessly to try and overcome them, equipping children for life both inside and outside the classroom.
At Knightlow, our SENDCo is Mrs Alex Duckett who holds the NASENDCo qualification.
Mrs Duckett works Monday to Wednesday and aims to respond to emails as soon as possible. She is best contacted through the school admin email: admin3590@we-learn.com or you can ring and arrange an appointment through the school office on 024 7654 3751.
At Knightlow we support the Warwickshire School's Inclusion Charter, and aim to ensure we do all we can to meet the needs of vulnerable children. Our SEND Report gives more detail on the school's provision for children with Special Educational Needs or Disabilities, and our policy outlines the approach we take for children with additional needs.
